Mixing/Mastering Area
The "heart" of the studio, the mixing and mastering area is equiped with finest state-of-the-art soundprocessing equipment. To name a few, a real tube equalizer designed by Peter Montessi from A-Design Audio, finest compressor emulations (e.g. Urei 1176, Fairchild 670) with two Trakker units by David Hill from Crane Song, API Bus compressor for solid drumbus and masterbus compression, the famous dbx 162SL compressor for the gentle "3D effect" and the HEDD real tape emulation processor also by David Hill.
Beside all this equipment stuff, we spent a lot of time and money in to acoustic treatment of the room and the result is a nearly flat frequency response (+/- 3db) and an industry standard reflection time of approx 290 msec throughout the whole recognizable frequency spectrum.
But not only that, also the provision of electricity is improved by the use of thick and high protioned copper cables connected directly from the house insert point to the studio, combined with lowpass-ferrit cables for the further allocation.
